Born March 19, 1920 in Netcong, NJ, he was the son of Joseph and Marion (Zymanska) Armitz.
He was a service technician.
He was survived by his wife, Ann Fitzpatrick Armitz.
Interment was in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
