Edward F. Maute

Edward F. Maute, age 72 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died suddenly at his home on March 26, 2016.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Connie Maute;, his son, Joel Maute and his wife Amy, and grandsons, Harrison and Luke all of Port Washington, NY. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Lee Maute of Tampa, FL. and nieces Kimberly Maute (James Keene) of Bulle, Australia and Courtney King (Daniel) of Valrico, FL.

Ed was a 1962 graduate of East Brunswick High School and had an electrical engineering degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He was employed as a computer programmer and systems analyst by the State of New Jersey for thirty years.

Ed was a former member of the Delaware Township Board of Education and was a member of Darcy Lodge #37, F & AM, of Flemington, NJ.

He enjoyed kayaking on the Delaware and playing with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.
