Eduardo De Leon Martinez, born on November 11, 1982, in Guatemala, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center. He was 42 years old. His journey from his homeland to the United States at the age of 15 marked the beginning of a dedicated life that spanned over two decades in Flemington, NJ. Eduardo served for 17 years as a warehouse employee for Blaher Used Office Furniture Outlet. His strong work ethic was a testament to his character and his commitment to providing for his family.

Above all, Eduardo was a devoted father, finding immense joy in spending time with his children. He cherished his roles as a loving father and a proud grandfather to Matthew Milian. His legacy as a kind, warm-hearted, and caring individual will be remembered by all who knew him. Known for his generosity, Eduardo would often share food and clothing with those in need, embodying a spirit of kindness that left a profound impact on his community. His positive attitude and infectious smile lit up the lives of many, creating a warm environment wherever he went.

In addition to being a wonderful father, Eduardo had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and barbequeing, often trying new online recipes. These hobbies were not just pursuits but were ways for him to connect with family and friends, sharing meals and laughter.

He is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Ever Milian, NJ; his daughter, Juliet Martinez Zuna; and his son, Alejandro Martinez Zuna, all residing in Flemington, NJ. Additionally, he leaves behind the mother of his children, Mariana Zuna, of Flemington, NJ. Eduardo's brothers, Ever Noe Martinez De Leon, also of Flemington, NJ, as well as Albaro Tixal and Sergio Tixal of Guatemala, continue to remember him fondly. Finally, he will be missed by his shitzhu canine companion, Dino Milian.

He was predeceased by his son, Edy Joel Martinez Zuna, who passed away in 2012.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 28, 2025, at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, commencing at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Además, le sobreviven la madre de sus hijos, Mariana Zuna, de Flemington, Nueva Jersey. Sus hermanos, Ever Noé Martínez De León, también de Flemington, Nueva Jersey, así como Albaro Tixal y Sergio Tixal, de Guatemala, lo recuerdan con cariño. Finalmente, su compañero canino, el shitzhu, lo extrañará.

Le precedió en la muerte su hijo, Edy Joel Martínez Zuna, quien falleció en 2012.

El velatorio se llevará a cabo el domingo 27 de julio de 2025, de 13:00 a 15:00, en la Funeraria Holcombe-Fisher, ubicada en 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. La misa de entierro cristiano se llevará a cabo el lunes 28 de julio de 2025 en la Iglesia de Santa Magdalena, ubicada en 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, a partir de las 10:00. El entierro se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio de Santa Magdalena, ubicado en North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
