Born in Skillman, NJ on June 23, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Melanchthon Ten Eyck and Clara Ruskie. She was employed as a computer operator for the Burroughs Corporation in Piscataway, NJ. Interment in Neshanic Reformed Church Cemetery, Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ.
