Born in New York City on December 24, 1908, she was the daughter of Louis and Gertrude Baum.

She was a teacher at Hunterdon Central Regional High School.

Dorothy was married to Louis L. Zuegner, of Flemington.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
