Doris E. Case

Doris E. Case, born on April 22, 1934, in Ringoes, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Bridgewater, New Jersey. A cherished member of the Flemington Baptist Church, Doris was known for her warm spirit and dedication to community and family throughout her life.

Doris devoted many years of her career working diligently as a bank teller and later serving in the Hunterdon Central High School Cafeteria, where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues with her kindness and commitment. Her work was marked by a genuine care for those around her, embodying a spirit of service that defined her character.

She was the beloved daughter of the late J. Preston Case and Margaret Herstine, whose memories she treasured deeply.

Doris is remembered fondly by her dear friends Linda Dickson and Jane Griffin, who valued her friendship and companionship.

Visitation for Doris E. Case will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. The funeral service will follow immediately thereafter, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the same location. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
