Donald C. Cory, age 56 years, of Easton, PA, died on February 9, 1996 in Forks Township, PA. Born in Orange, NJ on June 25, 1939, he was the son of Robert Cory and Doris Soares Cory. Mr. Cory was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1962-1967. He then became a pilot for Pan-Am and Delta Airlines for nearly thirty years. Donald is survived by his wife, Cora Jane Cory, their children, and many relatives. The burial was private.

Word has been received in the area of the death of Donald C. Cory, 56, of Easton, PA. The brother of Columbia Cross Roads farmer Robert Cory, he died Friday February 9, 1996 near Easton when his single-engine Cessna struck a darkened radio tower. He was born June 25, 1939 in Orange, NJ, the son of the late Robert and Doris Soares Cory. A pilot with more than 28,000 hours of flight time, Donald Cory served in the US Marine Corps and, after his discharge, flew for Pan Am and Delta Airlines. He resided in Easton for the last three years. He is survived by his wife, the former Cora Jane Widenor; a daughter Heather of Bedminster, NJ; a son, Donald Jr. of New Hope, PA; brothers, John of Easton and Robert of Columbia Cross Roads, PA.
