Delaven J. Mathews, age 84 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on October 13, 1989 at his residence.

Born in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ on December 29, 1904, he was the son of the late Frank Mathews and Lenora Opdyke.

Mr. Mathews was a retired carpenter.

Delaven was survived by his wife, Lucy (Leaver) Mathews.

Interment in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
