Born April 23, 1944 in Belleville, Virginia, he was the son of Benjamin and Mary Priscilla (Percha) Gaines. He was a realtor with Weichert Realtors, Flemington.
He was survived by his wife, Margaret (Williamson) Gaines.
Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
Arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
