Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on December 29, 1877, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius Lane and Victoria Cole.

She was predeceased by her husband, Abram B. Schomp, who died in 1961.

Interment in Readington Reformed Church Cemetery, Readington, NJ.
