Christopher Michael Stefanick, age 32 years, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York. Born in Frederick, Maryland, July 29, 1993, he was the son of Gerard and Donna (Tulpinski) Stefanick. He had formerly resided in Frederick, Maryland and Hunterdon County, NJ, until moving to New York City eighteen months ago. He was a passionate individual whose life was marked by a strong commitment to his faith, family, and career.
At the time of his passing, Christopher was employed as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Inspector for Equinor in Brooklyn, New York. Previously, he held the position of Senior Field Tech at Specialized Engineering and Triad Engineering, Inc. Christopher cherished his work, earning several licenses and certifications from the Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories (WACEL), which underscored his commitment to excellence in his field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Christopher was an enthusiastic evangelist who found great joy in sharing the word of God with others. He was an active member of the New Heaven New Earth Church, where he contributed to the spiritual lives of those around him. Christopher was also a member of South Ridge Community Church and the Grandview Grange when he was here in Hunterdon.
Christopher’s vibrant personality and love for his family were defining traits in his life. He dreamt of someday nurturing a large family, and he is survived by his devoted wife, Carriyanni (Clarke) Stefanick, and their beloved son, Jayce Stefanick. He is also mourned by his mother, Donna Stefanick. Christopher was a loving sibling to Michael, Jessica, and Kimberly Stefanick, and he took immense pride in being an uncle to Joseph and Jonathan Tito, as well as Kaiden, Hailey, and Kylie Stefanick.
In addition to his professional and familial commitments, Christopher had a passion for various hobbies, including anime, Pokémon, and Minecraft, where he was affectionately known as "MaximumChris" among his fellow gamers. He was a lifelong devoted Eagles fan and he enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly hiking, cultivating a deep appreciation for nature as well.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM, at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Interment in the family plot at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, Maryland will be private.
