Chester Higgins

Chester Higgins, age 76 years, of Raritan Borough, NJ, died on June 18, 1995 at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, NJ. Born in Readington Township, NJ on May 17, 1919, he was the son of the late Hirrie Higgins and Jeanie (McCloughan) Higgins. Mr. Higgins was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army in Italy and France from 1942-1945. He then worked for the Somerset County Bridge Department, retiring in 1981. Chester was survived by his wife, Cecelia Hugelman Higgins, their two children, and six grandchildren. Interment in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ.
