Charles W. Forbyn, age 70 years, of Scotch Plains, NY, died August 16, 1981 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.

Born February 8, 1911 in Staten Island, NY, he was the son of Peter and Katherine Forbyn. Mr. Forbyn was a machinist for General Motors Corp., Clark, NJ.

Charles was survived by his wife, Jettie (Smith) Forbyn.

Funeral arrangements were private under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
