Born in Norton, NJ on March 21, 1908, he was the son of Charles W. Sherman and Sarah Mitchell.

Mr. Sherman was a steel worker employed by Taylor-Wharton.

He was survived by his wife, Ruth M. (German) Sherman.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
