Caroline M. Albanese, a devoted volunteer, passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 55, in Somerville, NJ. Born on May 1, 1970, in Bayonne, NJ, she was a graduate of Delaware Valley Regional High School. Caroline was known for her happy and caring nature, traits that endeared her to all who knew her.
Caroline dedicated herself to serving others, particularly as a faithful volunteer at the Hunterdon Medical Center. Her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her was truly inspiring. She found joy in uplifting others and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Caroline is survived by her father, Salvatore Albanese, and step-mother, Elvire Albanese, both of Pittstown, NJ. She also leaves behind her loving friend and caretaker, Toni Kline, whose support was invaluable during her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frankie Ball Albanese, who passed away in 2010. Caroline's legacy is one of kindness, service, and love, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewings scheduled for November 21, 2025, at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ. The first viewing will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM, with an additional viewing later that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial in Caroline's honor will be held on November 22, 2025, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, located at 2 White Bridge Road, Franklin Township, NJ, starting at 10:00 AM. Immediately following the Mass, Caroline will be laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, located on Old Allerton Road, Clinton Township, NJ, where services will commence at 11:30 AM.
Anyone attending the funeral Mass is asked to meet directly at the Church on Saturday morning prior to the 10:00 am service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Caroline's memory may be made to the Spina Bifida Association, 2000 Duke St., Suite 300, Alexandria VA 22314.
Caroline M. Albanese's life was a testament to compassion and community service. She will be remembered fondly for her joyful spirit and the kindness she extended to others.
