Born in Bound Brook, New Jersey, on May 5, 1959. Carol Wroblewski was the beloved daughter of her father, John Wroblewski, and her mother, Pauline Uruchuk. At the age of 66, she passed away on January 21, 2026, from stage four pancreatic cancer. Until the very end, she was a fighter who wanted nothing more than to bring the spark of joy she had carried throughout her life to those around her. She brought an infectious vibrancy to every room she entered; however, she could also offer strong yet gentle devotion to anyone fortunate enough to know her. For that, fate repaid her kindness by allowing her to pass gently without any pain.
She had attended Bound Brook High School and graduated in 1977. She had both passion and talent for sewing and loved helping her school with the costumes for the stage plays. Along with her love for the thespian arts, she also adored nurturing the community. She worked as a lifeguard at Codrington Park and adored being a babysitter for many local families while growing up.
She worked for companies like V.W.R Scientific and Fischer Scientific. Like everything else in her life, she always gave her all. As long as she could assist in a job well done, she didn't mind giving whatever she could. This could also be seen in her other beloved profession as a home health aid. Her love of helping others remained a steadfast aspect of who she was for the rest of her life, and it was clear to those who knew her as a mother and those who met her while she worked with many families in Somerset and Hunterdon County.
Even off the clock, her attentive nature shone through in the way she cared for her son, Zachary Austin Schile, and daughter, Rebecca Grace Ann Stokes. When it came to her family, there was no mountain high enough or a valley low enough that could get in the way of providing whatever they needed. Her home was not only filled with the love and laughter of her children and dear friends, but it was also enshrouded within the cozy comfort of many animal companions throughout her life. Carol had always loved animals beyond question. The only aspect that made her turn away from her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian was that she understood she wouldn't be able to keep herself from trying to help every animal, even when she knew there was nothing she could do. Yet that never stopped her from opening her home to all kinds of animal companions, nor did it stop her from always wanting to improve her knowledge of how she could give them even happier lives.
When she did get time to herself, Carol enjoyed the twists and turns of Days of Our Lives, watching along with her mother, Pauline, in her youth and her daughter, Rebecca, later in life. Yet there was nothing Carol enjoyed more than bringing her loved ones together, especially during the holidays. Along with her love for thematic twists and the saccharine sweetness of Hallmark Movies, Carol enjoyed exploring the colorful worlds found in games. This affection sparked a lifelong love for gaming within both of her children, who loved sharing their fun and achievements with their mother. Even when she had no idea what they were going on about, she shared in their excitement for all of their hobbies and joys, which is all anyone could ever ask for.
Whether it was prepping a mouth-watering feast for Thanksgiving, baking Christmas cookies and decorating with her children, coloring eggs every shade of the rainbow, or handing out candy to kids on Halloween after her own grew up, Carol brought a comforting warmth to every holiday and to every day she had with her loved ones.
While the loss of her presence is already a deeply felt ache that could never fully be soothed, her memory lives on and lights up the lives of those closest to her. This includes her siblings Joyce and Michael; her dearest son Zachary Schile, her daughter Rebecca Grace Stokes, and those closest to her, such as Ron Schile, Carol Heister, and many more who were fortunate enough to have met her...
