Carol House Albrecht, age 85 years, formerly of Neshanic Station and Chester, NJ passed away on the morning of Monday, April 4, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Alexandria Township, NJ surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, March 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Grace (Sharpe) House.
She graduated in 1955 from Abraham Clark High School, Roselle, NJ. After high school, she was married to Herbert Kenneth Williams, had three daughters, and settled in Holmdel, NJ. She went on to have a highly successful career in the real estate business. As a Broker/Sales Representative in the Monmouth and Ocean County area of NJ, Carol worked for Sterling Thompson Realtors, Gloria Nilson Realtors and Pioneer Realtors, finally settling at Weichert Realtors. While at Weichert, she was Regional Vice President of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and was inducted into the Weichert Realtors Hall of Fame in 2000. She retired from Weichert Realtors in 2011 after 30 years of service.
Carol traveled extensively throughout the world with her late husband, Robert Albrecht. She also enjoyed many trips with her children to Europe, Bermuda, Grand Cayman, as well as many trips throughout the United States.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of twenty-five years, William Robert “Bob” Albrecht, who died in 2007. She is survived by her sister, Jane Lavendol of Melbourne, FL, her three daughters, Leslie Williams of Barnegat, NJ, Beth Williams of Monroe Township, NJ, Laura Bredeson and her husband Einar John Bredeson of Alexandria Township, NJ. She is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Bradley Dworkin (son of Leslie) of Cranford, NJ, Carol Anne Bredeson, Kailey Bredeson and Brooke Bredeson (daughters of Laura and Einar John Bredeson) of Alexandria Township, NJ.
There will be a visitation on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Graveside services will take place at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol’s name may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Oldwick, NJ - 18 Miller Avenue Oldwick, NJ 08848.
