Born November 3, 1917 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of Dominick and Catherine (Angerame) Lorde. Her husband, Edward Higgins, predeceased her in 1986.
Carmella was a real estate broker for C.D. Higgins Realty, Inc.
Interment was in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Raritan, NJ.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
