Brent A. Edsoren, age 84 years, of Nazareth, PA, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Country Meadows Nursing & Rehab Center, Bethlehem, PA.
Born in Frenchtown, NJ, November 15, 1940, he was the son of the late Arthur C. and Beatrice (Hall) Edsoren.
He had lived most of his life in Hunterdon County, NJ, residing in the Stanton, NJ and Three Bridges, NJ areas, before moving to the Easton, PA area twenty-four years ago.
Brent was a hard worker, who consequently always enjoyed his work. First, as an estimator for Van Lieu Building Contractors, Flemington, NJ, then as the proprietor of Northwest Group, and finally with Scozzari Builders Inc. He retired in 2024 at the age of 83.
An avid golfer, he was a member of the Sunday morning golf group, as well as the Flintstones, who played every Tuesday at Green Pond Country Club, Bethlehem, PA.
He was also a former member of the Flemington Elks Lodge #1928, Flemington, NJ. Additionally, he enjoyed going to casinos, playing poker, bowling, going out to eat with friends and family, and loved to trap, hunt, and fish.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Russell Van Lieu, and his brother, Lowell Edsoren.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Shirley (Fink) Edsoren; a son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Christine Edsoren of Easton, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Lowell Snyder of Upper Black Eddy, PA; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by burial in the family plot at Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ. Calling hours will be from 12 Noon until the time of the service in the funeral home.
