Barbara L. Hampton

Barbara Lee Hampton, age 79 years, of Plumstead Township, PA, died on Wednesday morning, June 10, 2026, at her home.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, January 11, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Marilyn (Davidson) Ramsey.

Barbara graduated from Kean University with a degree in elementary education.

Barbara was a homemaker for most of her life and was married to her husband, David W. Hampton, for 37 years.

She was a member of the Copper Hill Country Club, Ringoes, NJ, where she enjoyed playing golf with her friends until a few years ago.

Surviving is her husband, David Hampton; two sons, Scot Gordon and Jeffrey Gordon; two step children, Justin Hampton and Jessica Lubets; as well as six grandchildren: Lucas Gordon, Herbert Gordon, Eve Gordon, Andrew Gordon, Nathan Lubets, and Robyn Lubets.

There will be a celebration of life for Barbara at her residence at a date and time to be determined.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the animal rescue organization of one’s choice.
