Born in Paulsboro, NJ on September 14, 1915, he was the son of the late Sarah Leap.

Mr. Leap was an employee of Agway Inc., in Flemington, NJ.

Augustus was predeceased by his wife, Olga (Mittel) Leap, who died in 1977.

Interment in Saint Magdalen Cemetery, 94 North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
