Arthur N. Ward Jr.

DELAWARE TWP. - Arthur N. Ward Jr. died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at home. He was 60. He was born in Phillipsburg, a son of Arthur and Laura Laskowitz Ward. He lived in Flemington until moving to Delaware Township in 1974. He served in the Marine Corps 1959-1963 and was a charter member of the Hunterdon chapter of the Marine Corps League. He was a member of the Frenchtown American Legion post. He was a carpenter, with Carpenters Union Local 455 in Somerville for the past 34 years. He is survived by his wife, Grace Yarzab Ward; three daughters, Kimberly Fritts of Phillipsburg, Kelly Godown of Ringoes and Kathleen Thompson of Flemington; two sisters and three grandchildren. Services are set for Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Calling hours are tomorrow 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
