Ann-Marie Jaeger, a devoted educator, loving mother, cherished wife, and gifted artisan, passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 3, 2026, at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell, NJ. Born on September 22, 1964, in Queens, New York, Ann-Marie’s life was marked by kindness, boundless generosity, and a vibrant spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Ann-Marie’s academic journey began at Our Lady of Peace School in Lynbrook, NY, continued through Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead, NY, and advanced with the achievement of a bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. Her commitment to education culminated with a master’s degree from Queens College, CUNY, laying a strong foundation for her distinguished career in education.
For 25 years, Ann-Marie dedicated herself to shaping young minds as an educator in the West Windsor-Plainsboro and Princeton School Districts. Her passion for teaching and her patient, kind nature made her a beloved figure among students, parents, and colleagues alike. When her own children were born, she embraced the role of stay-at-home mother with great love and devotion, nurturing and caring for them with unwavering commitment.
Later in her life, Ann-Marie, alongside her husband Joe, channeled her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit into Bella Farmhouse & Design, LLC, a furniture refurbishment business based in Flemington, NJ. This venture was a testament to her artistic flair and her love of decorating homes, a passion she eagerly shared with others.
Her musical talents brought additional joy to her life; she loved to sing and play the piano, enriching her family and friends with her musical gifts. Ann-Marie was known for being “full of life,” a giver who cherished helping people and brought warmth and light wherever she went.
She was truly the glue of her family, a pillar who kept everyone together through love and care. Beloved as the best “Mimi” to her grandchildren, she was also held in the highest regard as a wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Her husband Joe, her steadfast companion of over 20 years, expressed that she quite literally saved his life—an enduring testament to her strength and compassion.
Ann-Marie leaves behind her devoted husband Joe Wysokowski; her three children and their families: Alexandra Webb and her husband Christopher and their children Nicholas and Felicity; Taylor Heaps and her husband Matthew with their children Kaden and Beckham; and her son Kyle Jaeger. She is also survived by her loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Marino; her brothers John Marino (wife Mary Ann) and Gregory Marino (wife Theresa); her many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and resilience. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Georgeanna Wysokowski.
A visitation to honor Ann-Marie’s life will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass celebrating her life will be conducted on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Inurnment in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ will be held privately.
Ann-Marie Jaeger’s life was a radiant blend of dedication, talent, and heartfelt commitment to family and community. Her legacy endures in the lives she touched and the love she shared so generously. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
