Alice P. Akelaitis, age 86 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on May 20, 2000 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 19, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Paul Pelkus and Josephine Pelkus. She taught science at both North Hunterdon Regional High School and Hunterdon Central Regional High School. Alice is survived by her husband, Adolfas Akelaitis. Interment in Saint Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
