It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Patrylo, who departed this world on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Kingwood Township, NJ. Born on November 12, 1937, in the Bronx, NY, Alexander lived a life filled with dedication, service, and a love for his family that knew no bounds.

After graduating high school, Alexander proudly joined the United States Air Force, a testament to his commitment to serve his country. Following his military service, he embraced a career as a carpenter, wherein his skills and craftsmanship became evident. His hands were not merely tools of trade, but avenues through which he expressed his artistry, gaining admiration from both peers and family alike.

 Alexander found joy in the great outdoors as an avid camper, indulging in adventures that strengthened both family bonds and friendships. His love for saltwater fishing was a cherished pastime, creating lasting memories with those lucky enough to share the experience with him. Beyond his hobbies, he was known as a craftsman and a hobbyist, always ready to lend a helping hand or share his expertise with others.

Alexander will be lovingly remembered by his family including his son, William Patrylo of Frenchtown, NJ; daughters, Cynthia Plummer and her husband, Eric of Lake Luzerne, NY and Denise Murray of Frenchtown, NJ; and grandchildren, Collin Plummer, Ryan Plummer and his wife, Joy, Robert Patrylo and his fiance, Jugerta, and Lillian Patrylo and her fiance, Robbie. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Scarlet Plummer, Asher Plummer, Aaren Plummer, and Beau Plummer, whose lives were enriched by his presence.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn C. Patrylo, and his daughter, Victoria Patrylo, who will be forever missed.

Visitation services for Alexander will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822. A Mass honoring his life will subsequently take place at Our Lady of Victories Church, 1005 County Road 519, Frenchtown, NJ 08825, starting at 11:00 AM on the same day. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ. 

The legacy of Alexander Patrylo is one of strength, love, and unwavering commitment. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories that will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege to know him.

Memorial contributions in Alexander's name may be made to the Kingwood Township Rescue Squad, 1032 County Road 519, Frenchtown, NJ 08825.
