Born in Manville, NJ on March 4, 1930, he was the son of Steven J. Tasnady, Sr., and Margaret Batcho.

Alex was survived by his wife, Gail (Silver) Tasnady.

Interment in Keokee Chapel Cemetery, Paradise Valley, Monroe County, PA.
