Born in Waterbury, CT on December 21, 1891, he was the son of the late Dr. Charles A. Ward and Bertha Alvord.

Mr. Ward was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

He then became a self-employed electrician.

Interment in Union Cemetery of Grandin, 6 Harmony School Road, Flemington, NJ.
