Alan Marc Samit, D.D.S.

Alan Marc Samit, D.D.S., age 73 years, of Raritan Township, NJ died on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Phildelphia, PA on April 15, 1947, he was the son of Annette Kaufman and had formerly resided in South Orange, NJ, and Sint Maarten in the Caribbean.

An avid racquetball player, Alan worked as an oral surgeon for the Veterans Administration Hospital in East Orange, NJ.

Surviving are his wife of forty-nine years, Royce (Williams) Samit, two daughters and sons-in-law, Leah Robinson and her husband, Kevin, and Dr. Jessica Greendorfer, and her husband Andrew; four grandchildren, Katie and Sara Greendorfer and Hank and Buck Robinson as well as two brothers, Gene Samit, of Pennsylvania, and Harry Samit, of Minnesota.

Private funeral arrangements and cremation are being conducted under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
