Walter P. Britton

Walter P. Britton, age 94 years, of Flemington, NJ, died July 22, 1986 at Hunterdon Convalescent Center, Raritan Township.

Born March 26, 1892 in Raritan Township, he was the son of Josiah and Ellen (Ewing) Britton. Mr. Britton was the former president of Flemington Savings & Loan and a former proprietor for Nash-Britton Auto Sales and Garage.

Mr. Britton served in the United States Navy during World War I.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Ella Britton, in 1925, and his second wife, Frances (Smith) Britton in 1969.

Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
