Violet N. Greaney

Violet N. Greaney, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Monday, June 13, 2005, at her residence.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, December 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Amelia Fritz Newman. She had formerly resided in Delaware Township, NJ, Piscataway, NJ, and Flemington, NJ.

She was formerly employed in the Health Offices at Hunterdon Central High School, retiring in 1986.

She was a 1940 graduate of Flemington High School. She was formerly a member and EMT instructor with the Kingwood Township Rescue Squad.

She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Joseph M. Greaney; two sons, Jerry Saunders of Paxinos, PA, and Shaun Greaney of Freehold, NJ; and a grandson, John Greaney, of Freehold, NJ.

Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
