Violet B. Tufo, 72, of Ringoes, died Thursday, October 22, 1992 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township.
Born in Bronx, N.Y., Mrs. Tufo resided in New York City until moving to Ringoes in 1962.
She was formerly employed by Flemington office of the Department of Industry & Labor as a clerk.
Mrs. Tufo was a member of the Flemington Baptist Church and the Friendship Circle of Hunterdon County Senior Citizens.
Daughter of the late Gaetano and Lucia Sferlazzo Zannelli and wife of the late Charles Tufo, she is survived by three daughters, Joanne Vigiletti of New Rochelle, N.Y., Lucia Kirk of Flemington and Barbara Kurylo of Ringoes; two sons, Thomas of Flemington and Ernest of Ringoes; a sister, Alba Sacchi of Watertown, Conn,; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington.
