Verna Lee Brady, age 80 years, of Pittstown, NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in the Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, NJ.
Born in Trenton, NJ, September 23, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Mildred “Minnie” Miller and Walter S. “Pat” Lake. She had resided in Hopewell Borough, NJ most of her life.
She was a homemaker and self-employed house cleaner. Verna also enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, watching car racing, listening to country & western music, especially Hank Williams, Jr., and the Grand Ole Opry station on the radio.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late Robert Brady.
She is survived by her son, David P. Lake; her sister, Betty Lake, of Sackets Harbor, NY; as well as her dear friends, Mike and Ginny Dean, of Pittstown, NJ and Amy Mutchler.
Verna attended the Calvary Baptist Church of Flemington, NJ. A memorial service for Verna will be held there at the Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Chuck Perone. She will be interred with her parents at Highland Cemetery in Hopewell, NJ.
