Husband of Dr. Ann R. Henry

Ted Wulko, beloved husband of Dr. Ann R. Henry, passed away at his home on June 13, 2019, with his wife and family beside him. He had been a resident of Raritan Township for the past 29 years.

Born in a displaced persons’ camp in Schonhof, Germany, he immigrated to the US with his late parents John and Stefanie Szymaszek Wulko and his late brother, Joseph Wulko. He was a naturalized US citizen and served active duty with the US Army Airborne stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia during the Vietnam War.

Ted was a retired Interior Architect having graduated with a B.A. from Philadelphia University. His love of art and music enriched his life every day and as he traveled the world his appreciation of the arts continued to deepen. He loved hiking the trails of Hunterdon County, cycling and golfing with his friends. A life-long learner, he and Ann were major benefactors of Marywood University.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Steven (Eileen) of Hatfield, Pa, sister-in-law Dolores Wulko of Philadelphia, mother-in-law, Eleanor Henry of Scranton, Pa, sister-in-law Mary Theresa Henry of Scranton, Pa, sister-in law Janet Henry Flynn (William) of Annapolis, Md,

He is also survived by his nieces Catherine Flynn, Eileen Kemske (Eric), Regina Donohue (Timmy), Alexis and Ryann Carroll and Blake Schuette; his nephews Steven Wulko Jr. (Christine), William Flynn (Kristy McCann) and Patrick Flynn (Regina), and his goddaughter, Jeanmarie Winger. Ted was great uncle to many nephews and nieces, most recently James and Declan Flynn. Ted is mourned by his close friends and extended family and those who knew him.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 22 from 2 to 4 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ with a memorial service beginning at 4 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Paul A. Henry Memorial Scholarship Fund, Marywood University, 2300 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA, 18509 or to a charity of your choice.
