Stephen R. Limpert

Stephen R. Limpert, age 63 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Friday, June 3, 2005 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Abington, PA, April 15, 1942, son of the late John and Marie Suter Limpert, he had resided in Franklin Township for twenty-five years, formerly residing Westfield, NJ.

He owned and operated a chemical sales business, retiring in 2004.

A graduate of Norwich University in Vermont, he served for many years with the New Jersey National Guard.

Mr. Limpert was a member of the North Jersey Gun Club, the Bucks County Fish & Game Club, the 200 Club of Union County and the National Rifle Association.

Surviving are his wife, Eleanor Onderdonk Limpert; two sons, Kurt S. Limpert of Lebanon, NJ and John Reid Limpert of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Kathryn Marie Limpert of Pittstown, NJ; a brother, John W. Limpert of Falls Village, CT; and four sisters, Carole Bogner of Portland, Maine, Joan Smith of Tucson, AZ, Mary Kirby of Wilmington, NC and Kathryn Brewington of Harrington Park, NJ.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
