Sam Starr

Sam Starr, age 66 years, of New York, NY, died on May 24, 1989 at Misericordia Hospital (now Mercy Philadelphia Hospital) in West Philadelphia.

Born in New York City on June 24, 1922, he was the son of the late Manuel Smookler and Lena Kaufman.

Mr. Starr was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy from 1943-1946.

He then worked as a Consulting Engineer for Jansen & Rogan in New York City.

Sam was survived by his wife, Nancy (Arnoys) Starr.

Interment in Quakertown Friends Cemetery, 290 White Bridge Road, Pittstown, NJ.
