Rose E. Housel

Rose E. Housel, age 96 years, of Sussex, NJ, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at her residence.

Born in Newark, NJ, January 17, 1908, daughter of the late Charles and Louise King Lotsey, she had formerly resided in Neshanic, NJ for many years before moving to Sussex four years ago.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, John Housel, died in 1983, a daughter, Betty Herfurth, died in 2001 and a grandson, William Denman, died in 2003. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Elmer Denman of Sussex, NJ; a sister, Adelaide Leonard of Clinton, NJ; nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Three Bridges Reformed Church, Main Street, Three Bridges, NJ. Interment will follow at Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse, NJ.
