Born in Hunterdon County, NJ on July 4, 1892, he was the son of the late Benjamin Johnson and Mary Sperling.

Mr. Johnson was survived by his wife, Myrtle (Potts) Johnson.

Interment in Union Cemetery, Boss Road, Ringoes, NJ.
