Robert J. Gettel

Robert J. Gettel, age 59 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Thursday, May 26, 2005 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born December 24, 1945 in Port Jervis, NY to the late Mae Lane, he had resided in Delaware Township for the past twenty years, having previously lived in Flemington, NJ and Bound Brook, NJ.

Mr. Gettel was a Carpenter and Millwright with Carpenter's Local #455, Somerville, NJ for over thirty years. He was an honorary member of American Legion Post #159, Flemington, NJ.

Surviving are a son, Ron Gettel of Phillipsburg, NJ and six grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
