Robert F. Riordan, age 53 years, of Delaware Township, NJ and New York City, NY, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Derby, CT, September 14, 1951 to the late Robert and Irene Healey Riordan, he had resided in Delaware Township the past twelve years, also living in New York City and Derby, CT prior to that.
For the past fourteen years, Mr. Riordan was the Theater Manager for the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn, NY. He formerly was the Theater Manager of the Joseph Papp Public Theatre, New York City, NY. He was a member of the Association of Theater Press Agents and Managers.
Additionally, he was a Bishop in the Thomasine Order of Catholics and was ordained approximately 3 years ago.
Surviving are his partner of thirteen years, John W. Holmes II; two brothers, Timothy Riordan of Orange, CT and Terence Riordan of Hamden, CT; and two sisters, Kathleen Martin of Seymour, CT and Eileen Henri of Derby, CT.

Visitation will be be at the Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby, Ct. 06418 on August 11th between 8am and 10:30am followed by a Memorial Mass at St. Mary's Church on Elizabeth St. in Derby. Burial will follow at Mount St. Peter's Cemetery on New Haven Ave. in Derby, Ct.
A Memorial Service in New York City will be announced.
