Rita M. Nanfara, age 54 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, March 25, 2005 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, July 1, 1950 to the late Alexander and Rose Aita Maranca, she had resided in Raritan Township since 1986, formerly residing in Woodbridge, NJ and Philadelphia, PA.
Mrs. Nanfara earned her degree in Histotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania and was formerly a Histotechnologist at the Graduate Hospital of Philadelphia and also at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
She was currently the Treasurer at First Liberty Mortgage Corporation, Raritan Boro, NJ.
Surviving are her husband of thirty years, Joseph M. Nanfara; two sons, Stephen J. Nanfara and Alexander J. Nanfara, both of Raritan Township, NJ; and a sister, Rose Orlando of Philadelphia, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
