Qaneta Ahsan Zafar was born on November 29, 1941 in Gujrat, India and passed away on December 8, 2021 near her home in Lambertville NJ. She was a devoted Ahmaddi Muslim and a wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher.
She had a high energy level and a strong sense of discipline, passion and piety which she imparted to her three children and two grandchildren. Her hallmark laughter was infectious. She was an attentive listener and great confidante. Her strong intelligence was tempered with equally strong humility. Her happiness stemmed from a deep and sincere gratitude to God for whatever she was given in life.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam and sent to 500 Bridge Street, Willingboro NJ 08046.
Surviving is her husband, Dr. Ahsan U. Zafar, M.D., of West Amwell Township, NJ and her children and extended family.
Funeral services took place on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Al-Nasr Mosque in Willingboro, NJ. Burial followed in the family plot at Harbourton Cemetery, Hopewell Township, NJ.
