Born in Franklin Township, NJ on September 7, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Albert St. John Chambre and May Keen.

She was the Owner & Operator of a grain and dairy farm in Pittstown, NJ.

Melda was predeceased by her husband, Clifford E. Snyder, who died in 1967.

Interment in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
