Born in Hartford, CT on January 11, 1919, she was the daughter of Zenovia Bogdan.

She was a veteran of World War II.

Mae then worked as a hairdresser.

She was survived by her husband, Edward J. Saums, of Flemington.

Interment in Three Bridges Reformed Church Cemetery, Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
