Born in Flemington, NJ on May 22, 1891, she was the daughter of the late David Hill and Ellen Baker.

Mabel was predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Elgard, who died in 1948.

Interment in Cherryville Mountain View Cemetery, 594 Cherryville Road, Flemington, NJ.
