Born in Calais, France in 1890, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. Hicks and Malvina Crochez.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mortimer Denyse, who died in 1952.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
