Born in New York City on March 17, 1911, he was the son of Joseph Kreitler, Sr., and Julia Berencsi.

Mr. Kreitler was a veteran of World War II.

He then worked in the insurance and real estate fields.

He was survived by his wife, Elsie (Reich) Kreitler.

Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
