He married his high school sweetheart, Anna Rokuskie on April 27th 1957 and were married 60 years before her passing in 2017. In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by three sisters, Anna Mae, Dolores, and Lorraine, his three brothers, Joseph, James and Edward, and his son-in-law, Michael Hazzard. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen (Tyminski) McDade, his daughter, Lisa Hazzard of Chanhassen, MN; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Jill McDade of Eagan, MN; a brother, Gerard McDade, a sister, Joanne Rile; his three grandchildren: Mazie (Justin), Johnny, and Serena; and his great-granddaughter, Phoebe, his great-grandson, Adrian, his stepdaughter, Nicole; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He graduated from LaSalle University in 1968, majoring in Business Administration and Marketing. Jack was a 39-year employee of 3M. During his career, he held various positions in sales, sales management and education and training. While also working at 3M, Jack wrote, produced and performed special comedy and musical material for Business/Industrial Clients.

Jack’s passion was singing and he performed consistently throughout his life. He was one of Dick Clark's first musical guests on American Bandstand in the 1950's. After retirement, Jack performed musical/comedy concerts before thousands of people in the Central Jersey area for AARP; Assisted Living Facilities; Senior Citizens Associations; Birthdays, Christmas parties; Home Bound Groups, the Flemington library and the annual Flemington Holiday Parade. He also sang at Christenings, weddings and funerals for many family and friends. One of his proudest moments was having the honor of performing the National Anthem at the Philadelphia Phillies, Somerset Patriots and Trenton Thunder baseball games.

Jack recorded several CD’s during his musical career. He was most proud of the songs “Christmas in Philadelphia” and “Hooray for the Eagles”. Also, while in retirement Jack was an on air radio personality for 5 years with WDVR-FM 89.7 and his show “Singers and Songs."

Helen and Jack met in Flemington at an event he was hosting and singing at. Several months later, they decided to go on a date. They both enjoyed life together to the fullest. Memories of their marriage will forever be in her heart.

Jack was especially proud of his Irish heritage and his Catholic faith and was a member of the St. Magdalen Church in Flemington for many years.

Jack loved spending time with his grandkids. For two weeks in the summer, he would host them for a “No parents allowed” vacation. They enjoyed many trips down the shore and NYC. Jack enjoyed cheering on the Phillies and Eagles. But what he loved most was sharing his generous heart, humor and wit with his family and friends.
