John A. Finelli

John A. Finelli, age 64 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died on Thursday, November 4, 2004, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, East Orange, NJ.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, November 14, 1939, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Filicia Yorlano Finelli. He had formerly resided in Piscataway, NJ, before moving to Alexandria Township, NJ thirty-two years ago.

An accountant, he was comptroller for Quality Partitions Materials, Kingwood Township, NJ, retiring in 1993.

He was a graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. He was a United States Army veteran serving from 1963-1965.

A son, John A. Finelli, Jr., died in 1986. Surviving are a son, James Finelli, of Morristown, NJ; a daughter, Janine Finelli, of Phillipsburg, NJ; and four sisters: Rosemary Finelli and Gloria Muller, both of Raritan Borough, NJ, Jeanne Finelli, of Flemington, NJ; and Gladys Smith, of Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday, November 8, in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4 PM in the funeral home.
