Jeanne H. Hazley

Jeanne H. Hazley, age 84 years, of Bethlehem Township, NJ, died on Thursday, November 22, 2007, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, March 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alicia Steele Hazley.

She was a graduate of Jersey City State College and Kean College. She was a Nursing Administrator, Department of Nusre Certification, Caldwell College, Caldwell, NJ, retiring in 2005.

She was a member of the Lincoln Chapter, O.E.S., Newark, NJ; the United Methodist Women, and lay leader at the Quakertown United Methodist Church, Quakertown, NJ.

Surviving are a sister, Doris Perry, of Hackettstown, NJ; three nieces, Joan Cornish of Warren, NJ, Margaret Simpson of Annandale, NJ, and Alicia Owens of Sebastian, FL; two nephews, Kenneth Perry of West Pawlet, VT, and Glenn Jacobus of Beaufort, SC; and her friend, Mary Ann Long, of Hampton, NJ.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2007, at 4 PM, in the Quakertown United Methodist Church, Quakertown, NJ. Interment will be private in Coxsackie, NY. There will be no calling hours.
