Jeanette E. Ash

Jeanette E. Ash, age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, August 25, 2006 in Valley View Care Center, Alexandria Township, NJ. Born in Raritan Township, NJ, August 9, 1918, daughter of the late Oliver and Sophia Clausen Everitt, she had resided in Raritan Township most her life. A 1936 graduate of Flemington High School, Mrs. Ash went on to graduate from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Newark, NJ. A Registered Nurse, she was a Nurse at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ over thirty-five years, retiring in 1991. Mrs. Ash was a member of the Flemington Baptist Church, Flemington, NJ, the Ringoes Grange #12 and of the Emergency Nurses Association. Her husband, Frederick Ash, died in 1980 and a sister, Shirley Elbert, died in 1996. Surviving are two sons, William E. Ash of Morristown, NJ and Norman E. Ash of Ringoes, NJ; and a granddaughter, Michelle Bendzin of Convent Station, NJ. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ.
